Description
The Synology RackStation RS1226+ is a 2U, 8-bay short-depth rackmount NAS designed primarily for small-to-medium businesses (SMBs), edge environments, and distributed branch offices. Released in mid-2026, it serves as the direct successor to the long-standing RS1221+. It focuses on essential data management tasks like centralized file sharing, automated data tiering, and backup infrastructure.
